Scott Monaghan

President and Chief Technology Officer

In 2007, after a decade working as a developer for startups, Scott broke off on his own and started the company that has become SM&KK Studios. For the past four years Scott has led SM&KK Studios to provide design-focused web and print solutions to businesses of all sizes from upstart-to-industry-leader kCura to household names like American Express.

In addition, Scott has used his extensive marketing and web know-how to propel an artist to the top unsigned musician spot on YouTube in a matter of months, leveraged the power of social networking early on to completely finance a professionally produced album using crowd sourcing alone, and created software to automate the previously manual processing of hundreds of thousands of volunteers for the successful 2008 Obama presidential campaign. Scott runs the day-to-day operations of SM&KK Studios and oversees the SM&KK development team out of our Chicago studio.

Katie Klencheski

Creative Director

Based out of our New York studio, Katie oversees the creative team at SM&KK Studios. With almost a decade of expertise in branding, design and advertising, Katie has past experience working with large and smallscale communications and creative agencies alike including: Gotham, Ogilvy and AgencySacks; and international brands like Sony, the Trump Organization, Cartier and American Express. A graduate of Tufts University in affiliation with the School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she is savvy across many different industry sectors including travel and leisure, home and interiors, luxury, beauty, retail, fashion, sustainability, technology, finance and real estate; and excels at creating market-sensitive cross-media campaigns.

Since 2009, she has focused on branding, art direction and design for start-ups and small-to-mid-sized businesses. In addition, in February 2010, Katie co-founded ImpactDash.com, a digital magazine and interactive resource for individuals and families pursuing greener lifestyles.
